Hello,

I’m Candice D. Madrid. My background spans in publication design, art direction, corporate creative leadership, teaching, and mentoring. That experience includes directing multiple brands, training creative teams, developing websites & ecommerce foundations, and producing product photography. Behind the scenes, it also includes business planning, budgets, offers, and client acquisitions & relationships.

Working between executive leadership and creative teams gave me a view of both the work and the business decisions behind it. That perspective shapes these resources: helping you connect your creative skills with clarity about what you offer, how you price it, and how you communicate its value.

In 2020, I began teaching graphic design and photography through high school and dual credit college courses in Texas. I approached the classroom like a production team. Students learned to think through the work, make creative decisions, and put their skills into practice. A few went on to work in the creative industry.

Today, that same approach continues through mentoring. Questions about pricing, proposals, and brand building come up repeatedly, and these resources were created to help creatives work through them.

My heart is to see other creatives succeed without facing the same costly barriers and gatekeeping I encountered. Faith shapes that commitment to share what I’ve learned and help others steward the skills already in their hands.

That includes navigating new tools without losing sight of your value. I see AI as support for the workflow, not a replacement for creative judgment. Your eye, your understanding of visual principles, and your ability to give the work direction are worth developing.

The purpose here is simple: practical tools and training that help you make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.
